mp3.com lists bands alphabetically
in over 200 categories. Initially it was a goal to start an internet
band with a name that began with AAA to create a song that would be listed
at the top of each and every category. While in Vancouver I was invited
to participate with the anonymous members of the band in several of these
songs including: Recording the Interview Our Audience performing
vocals in Last Call, Paradise Lost (The Dave Thomas), Prosthetic
Pudding Arm, Polka Death Door, My Father Is An AAAsstronaut
and
writing lyrics music and performing Alphabet Car. Usually
done in one take, lyrics are performed without the aide of hearing the
accompanying music. Finished tracks are listened to only once before
they are uploaded. There is a train on most tracks (Vancouver Harbor).
Some of these tunes are not horrible at all. What gives?
To hear this music for free, you have to put up with some banner advertising
and leave your name email etc. but it is worth it.
